A Horse's Life
The next morning, we passed a series of quiet farms. We still saw no people, only easily-startled sheep with their lambs, and a group of curious horses. The Icelandic horse is a unique breed. Their long manes give them a aire of power and grace even at first look. A group of about 6 slowly approached us as we passed by. They alternately crept forward, and ran back - unsure what to make of our appearance. In the end, it seemed they accepted us, and bid us good luck.
