Val Kilmer can be a good actor when given the chance… Wow, he even sung the Door’s songs in this movie. A darn good job. What happened to good clean fun anyway? I wanna go eat peyote in the desert!

Another movie with a great ending – nothing mattered, it was all a simple case of petty greed. is it better to have 48 hours of excitement or a lifetime of drunken inebriation? I suppose if you only have 48 hours to live, you might as well spend it handcuffed to Meg Ryan.
Courage Under Fire
A decent movie, but Meg Ryan as a tough chick? She did a fine enough acting job, but I couldn’t help think… she’s so darn cute. I suppose she was trying to shed her image, but that’s impossible… just look at her. She doesn’t have to even open her mouth to make men behave like little kids. I thought the alcoholic subplot was totally unnecessary. Otherwise, it was a decent movie.
When Harry Met Sally…
All anyone will ever remember is the orgasm scene. I thought this movie was sad. It reminds the viewer how most lives are just plain average, and they pass by quicker that one would like to believe.

Another chance for Meg Ryan to be cute, although she almost meets her match with Tom Hanks (playing with his boy at the park?). I have to say though, these movies try to make life look so difficult, but when you look at the life these people have, give me a break! (other than the untimely death of the kid’s mom).
Joe vs. The Volcano
The key to making Meg Ryan “not as cute”? Put her in disguise. She’s not a bad actor actually. I liked this movie, many people have never seen it even though it stars a couple of the biggest stars in Hollywood. It’s just on the other side of reality, perhaps the way the world would be if Christo was god.
I.Q.
Dang, that Meg Ryan is just so darn cute. This movie is off the “Meg Ryan cuteness” charts. Oh, she’s perky too! Very perky in this movie. This film proves that she does her best “work” when she just gives in and lets the perky cuteness take over. (Gotta love this movie, it even has Einstein!)

Gee whiz, what a nice fun movie. If you’re feeling just a little down on a rainy day, see this movie.
