This came out of nowhere. I don’t think that society was ready for Airplane! when it came out. It was like a revolution in comedy. This is an example of a movie where you’ll honestly laugh at the stupidest jokes and find them sincerely funny. If an alien ever needed to understand earthly humor, they’d just have to rent this movie.

Wrongfully Accused
My god what a dumb movie. This was nothing more than 1.5 hours of really pathetic attempts at humor. It was just plain worthless. Why do they even make these movies? Why does HBO show them? Why do I watch them? It’s a viscous circle – the blind leading the blind round and round. Leslie Nielsen has hit an all time rock bottom low with this one. (Of course, I never saw Mr. Magoo).
Forbidden Planet
To many, this is a classic 50’s sci-fi movie… an actual good 50’s sci-fi movie. It stands out only next to the abysmal competition from the 50’s. It’s OK, but pretty straightforward. I have a hard time taking any old sci-fi movie very seriously, they all look so corny.
