Oh, I guess this was entertaining… But what kind of people are these? It bugs me when the characters in a movie have these amazing lives… Everyone is a rich lawyer, rich architect, rich business owner (and a cool business like a bakery). I guess people like these do exist, but something about it just bugs me. I’m sitting here trying to figure out I’m going to eat dinner, drop some stuff off at goodwill, update my blogs, edit some photos, do my emails, and water the plants all in the couple hours of “life” I have after work. Now THAT’s complicated.

Miami Blues
This movie was dismissed too quickly by too many people. Is there a backdoor entrance to the American dream? I thought that both Alec Baldwin and Jennifer Jason Leigh put in terrific performances. There were lots of quirky little scenes in this movie that made it extra special.
The Juror
Something about this movie bothered me… it was like the Demi Moore character wasn’t a “real” person. They should have spent more time developing her character’s personal life. It was hard to sympathize with her since we really didn’t get to know her too well. An interesting movie, but it could have been done a lot better.
The Hunt for Red October
Yer typical cold war espionage/submarine flick. What do I care if some idiots blow themselves up out in the middle of nowhere? Men and their games…
