Bella Coola is a small community on the coast of British Columbia, isolated mostly by geography. A road does lead here, but it's a long and steep one. Many people visit by sea or air.

Joffre Lakes are a series of 3 glacial alpine lakes in the Coast Range of British Columbia. A steep rocky trail leads the way...

Tweedsmuir Provincial Park

Tweedsmuir Provincial Park

Tweedsmuir Provincial Park covers a massive area of the northern coast mountains in British Columbia. The images in this gallery barely scratch the surface. Hopefully, I'll be able to return for an extended stay and fill the gallery with more images.

Ocean Falls

Ocean Falls

October 04, 2011

Ocean Falls is an isolated community along the British Columbia coast. It was once the home of 2000 people. But after the lumber mill closed, most of them moved out. Today, Ocean Falls is home to about 20 residents, dozens of abandoned buildings, and a lot of memories

Various other locations in British Columbia

Galiano Island

Galiano Island

April 29, 2010

Galiano Island is a long narrow island, and one of the larger Gulf Islands. There are a number of scenic parks, views, hikes and drives along the length of the island.

Pender Island

Pender Island (there is both a north and south Pender Island, but they're connected by a bridge) is in the heart of the Gulf Islands. A lot of artisans, sheep, and other interesting characters call Pender Island home.
